Comment: If I could give My Little World Daycare in Round Hill ZERO stars, I would. Please do not send your child to this place. Do your research as the other parents have said. Look up her state violations on the DSS website and ask her why she has so many complaints. She is never with the children. She leaves them outdoors for HOURS in the heat while she is inside in the AC watching from her office. She has let kids fall from the unsafe playground she has in her backyard and never reported it to the parents. Don't be fooled by her calm kind demeanor. It's all an act. She is the biggest phony and lies to the parents and is mean to the children when the parents are not around. It's heartbreaking to hear the stories from the previous workers - all of them. Not just 1 but every single one that has left. Many left only after a few weeks of working with her. All their stories match. She shows one face to the parents and is her true self to the staff and kids. Don't buy into the many staged photos on her FB page. Those kids have no desire to be in those pictures. Please go elsewhere. There are so many more options. As the other parents said - do your homework! please.

Comment: Do NOT send your children to this daycare. It's all smoking mirrors with Mercy Brito. She will come off as sweet and kind and cares about the kids but come to find out, it's quite the opposite. I highly recommend you review her licensing reports on the DSS website - which is more current than what is provided on this website: https://www.dss.virginia.gov/facility/search/cc2.cgi?rm=Details;ID=37256 The difference I have seen in my child since leaving My Little World is tremendous. I am beating myself up for not reading the signs. I literally use to push my child into the daycare. I thought it was a toddler thing but it wasn't. My child didn't want to be there. Breaks my heart. My child runs into their new preschool and comes home and tells me all about the fun things they did. This NEVER happened at My Little World. This place is awful and is run by someone who is dishonest and continues to deceive people. Mercy Brito deceives the families with all the staged photos that now I realize looking back, the kids rarely wanted to participate in. I'm sorry to have been one of the many people she deceived. I'm more sorry for my child.

Comment: Reading the above review and realizing that 4 years later I could literally echo everything that is written on this post and then some hurts me to the core. Please I urge you to do your homework. Visit the DSS website and see all the complaints (though conveniently unfounded) that were reported. This is NOT the place you want to send your kids. Mrs. Brito sells you one thing but it is the complete opposite. She will cut corners any chance she gets. In a matter of 2 weeks, 9 kids were pulled from her daycare by the choice of the parents. That should be all that needs to be said.

Comment: In the beginning of this year we decided to find an in home daycare provider that was closer to home. After a search of the area Mercy's daycare came up. After speaking with her on both phone and in person and finding out a slot was open we jumped on the chance. She presented herself as a caring and well meaning person. She informed us of her following state guidelines and always staying on top of everything. However after about a month in we noticed a change in our child. Tired when we pick him up, crabby and a lot of the times not wanting to go no matter how hard we tried to put a positive spin on it for our child. Then one Friday after we had picked him up we discovered to our shock that our child had been bitten several times. We took photos and texted them to her. Her response at that time was one of shock and surprise saying this had never happened before. Mercy also went onto to say that our child had never once screamed out in pain. However with her running the daycare and no less the three other providers on hand not one of them noticed a single thing. Then as the following week rolled on other things started to come up. Our child isn't even three and they find it odd that he is throwing a fit about having markers taken away from him. I know it sounds like I am being crazy. But after my wife and I decided to look elsewhere and when we found a place that encouraged us to look them up on recent if any state violations we decided to look Mercy's as well. And to our shock yet again was the fact she was written up for a violation (I encourage all potential and future parents to look her up its a matter of public record) for having to many children. She is licensed to have only twelve and after speaking with the person who came in to do the surprise inspection informed me she had at least two to three kids more then she was supposed to have. Once my wife and I were starting to put pieces together we came to the conclusion that something happened to our child in this period of time. I should also point out that she was gone for an entire week and while she did inform the parents of that it was clear to me and my wife that something happened to our child while in the care of her assistants. Needless to say we made the decision to break the contract and loose our deposit and go with another provider. I tell all parents and future parents about this as I and my wife believe that we were sold on a bill of goods that while seemed great were not true. Even more so when our normal child was no longer happy. Do not let her bubbly personality or detail oriented educational setup distract from the fact that the children are for the most part in a basement with no real windows and time spent outside when the weather is nice. With field trips to the library for the small children and other plans for the older children. It may seem nice but in the end I think there is more going on here then meets the eye. So please I urge you all to really do your homework on her and then make up your mind if its worth it.
