We provide a child directed, play based preschool curriculum. We help our children learn and grow through developmentally appropriate activities and games. We promote creativity and critical thinking. Children are encouraged to explore and discover. Our space is designed for children to play freely. All our toys are carefully selected for children to develop their fine and gross motor skills as well as ignite the curiosity in them to create and learn. We instill emotional intelligence and self-confidence. We have created a family like environment, encouraging a healthy social life for children. We use an inclusive curriculum and celebrate diversity. We believe that every child is unique and will grow at his or her own pace. Our teachers spend time nurturing children’s strengths and encouraging them to reach new heights. We offer an age-appropriate curriculum that focuses on the individual strengths of each child. We offer an enriched environment, where children learn about themselves and the world around them, through the development of a positive self-concept, interaction and cooperation with others, and hands-on learning experiences.

Daycare owner and director Eileen Manoukian is a doctoral candidate in the Young Children's Education field. She is a member of MENSA as well as a member of NAEYC. She has several years of experience in child development. She has volunteered her time to work with children in the United States and abroad. The teachers and volunteers at Gem Educare are highly educated in the field of child development and child psychology. Our goal is to create a safe and loving environment for kids to explore, play, learn and create. We provide developmentally appropriate curriculum. We are dedicated to children's healthy growth and development. We believe children's emotional wellbeing is as important as their physical health. We provide only home made organic food. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks.
