Description: Tikes and Trikes Childcare and Preschool is a family childcare home located in SE Portland. My program is play based and focuses on gaining skills and practice for everyday life. Through hands on experiences we explore science, art, music, literature, technology and so much more. Our small group setting allows for individualized care and learning opportunities. As a partner in your child's education, I am committed to staying current with best practices and teaching principles. I hold a degree in early childhood education and continue to complete coursework in the field. Tikes and Trikes is open for full-time, part-time and drop-in care Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 5:00pm. Additional hours and/or days may be negotiated. Capacity: 6 Age Range: 1 month 2 weeks to 5 years 11 months Rate Range: $3-$5/ hourly. $30/$50/daily. $600-$800/monthly Achievement and/or Accreditations: ECE degree, Step 9 in the Oregon registry, Infant/ Child CPR certified Days of Operation: Monday - Friday Normal Open Hours: 5:00am-5:00pm Enrolled in Subsidized Child Care Program: No Type of Care: After School, Before School, Before and After School, Daytime, Drop-in Care, Emergency Care, Full-Time, Part-Time Transportation: To/From School Additional Information: I may be able to accommodate additional hours/days, just ask! Transportation is offered to/ from the following schools: Earl Boyles, West Powellhurst, Cherry Park, Gilbert Park and Gilbert Heights Elementary schools, Ron Russell Middle School, and David Douglas High School.
