| Comment: | When I first used Walk and Roll Daycare it was okay I thought; I did not know Breauna provides minimal care. My child was an infant when I started using Breauna and I removed my child due to I was dissatisfied with her minimal services. Breauna told me my child will be kept in a crib or pack-n-play from the drop off to pick up. So my child was rarely held. I never understood why my child was not included in the daily activities with the other children or able to sit in a high chair and watch the other children. My child had diaper rash all the time while under Breauna's care. The house is dark and has dim lighting you can not see clearly everything in the room. When I or my husband would pick up our child Breauna would have to get my baby from the crib/pack-n-play each time. I never saw Breauna holding my child. The other children would come out to the front room and see who was at the door and Breauna would shuffle them all back to the bedroom where the crib/pack-n-play was. My mother picked up my child a few times which Breauna told my mother you cannot come over until after 3pm I do not want people over here unless I say when you can come over to pick up your grandchild. Breauna told me one time that I was not able to pick up my child at 1pm after my doctor appointment because she was nursing and did not want me coming over. I told Breauna I am picking up my child and if you will not allow it I will call the police because you cannot hold my child from me its my child. There has been a lot of turnover at Breaunas daycare due to her being difficult to work with. Breauna had just had a baby daughter at the time she started watching my child. I always saw her holding her daughter when I dropped off or picked up my child. Breauna watched 3-5 infants (under 12 months) at a time which is not in policy with the KDHE. I was told three times by Breauna while my child was under her care KDHE is coming to do a a home visit so you are not going to be able to bring your child to her daycare because she stated she had too many infants and did not want KDHE to find out or they may close her down for noncompliance or fine her. I had to take off from my work or my husband had to take off from his work during these times. When I gave two weeks notice which is in the contract for parents to provide Breauna she got angry at me and refused to keep my child for the two week period as per contract. Breauna broke her own daycare contract agreement we signed when I first hired her. Breauna went on to tell me now she could not pay her mortgage and other bills now that I was removing my child from her daycare and texted me multiple times telling me what a horrible person I was to change to a different day care provider. I found a wonderful daycare provider to watch my child and their needs are seen to right away. I am very happy with my new provider and I would never recommend Breauna to any parent looking for daycare for their child(ren). Last thought, I did not like there is a cat that roams around the house my child is allergic to cats. Breauna never did put the cat downstairs away from my child and the other children it just roamed around her house so my child had big red allergy eyes constantly. |
