Comment: Multiple children with wounds at pickup with uninformed parents. Children wandering away from the daycare due to lack of supervision with uninformed parents. Dirty. Refuses to follow parents feeding wants. Screams at the children. Belittles the children. The list goes on. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE.

Comment: Hello, I'm a very happy parent with my sons care at ABC/123 Daycare they give him. He smiles and gets excited when he see's Laura or any of her employee's. Laura and all employee's are very good about telling me or my husband how are son's day was. ABC/123 does a lot of learning activities and crafts. I would recommend ABC/123 Daycare to anybody that needs childcare.

Comment: I only used Laura's daycare for a short time because of the poor care of the children I saw. Her mother and Patty were constantly yelling at the older kids. There was a time Patty called me on the phone and when she thought I had hung up, she started talking badly about my partner to someone (guessing it was Laura's mom) They would prop the bottle so my child would end up throwing up and wasn't gaining weight. There was usually only two people staffed at all times with more kids then the guidelines would allow. (1 person for 4 infants and 1 person for 8 children) The older kids were suppose to be in a separate room, and no matter what time I showed up. All kids were in the same room. Laura is nice but I would not recommend this daycare to even my worst enemy. Also good luck with getting your deposit back.

Comment: Terrible place to drop off your children. Lots of sad children because of the mother and daughter not wanting to care for the children like they should be cared for. If your child cries (as children do) especially when being dropped off at an unwelcoming environment they will not keep them! She will take your deposit and cash it the same day, but will not return your deposit until she gets paid for the month from other children. You are not supposed to pay a daycare until the end of the month....she wants her money all on the 1st which has been reported and will continue to be reported. The children NEVER go outside The Children Never do art work They do watch hours of TV though I would be very careful and rethink ever leaving your child in this facility for care or lack of care. But if you do, don't worry she will find an excuse to get rid of your child if he or she is not perfect! She will close the daycare at least once a month if not more!

Comment: When I was 2 months pregnant I met Laura and paid my two week deposit to put my eventual newborn in this daycare. I stupidly didn't research these reviews and went by Laura's word. I was told my two week deposit covers the last two weeks of childcare if and when either her or I terminate my child's enrollment. When baby was born Laura was messaging me that if I wanted to return to work early from maternity leave she has a spot available for my newborn. So at ten weeks my baby began full day daycare at ABC 123s. St first the workers would tell me at the end of every day my baby had been fussy for half of the day. She's a newborn ten week old so I wasn't sure why she was crying this much. At home she doesn't. The only explanation I came up with is I had switched her brand of formula that first week. The second week the same exact thing happened but Laura asked me to get faster flowing nipples for baby's bottle. Um she's 11 weeks this time so should she be eating very fast? I got newer nipples with more or extra holes. Every day I'd come pick baby up and was told she was fussy in the morning and fine in the evening. I paid on March 24 in the morning when I dropped baby off for the next two weeks in advance. This Friday (March 24) marked almost 2 weeks with this daycare. I dropped her off in the morning and picked her up at 5 p.m. I was told at this time that if my baby's behavior didn't improve by the following Friday they couldn't have her in the daycare anymore. Her behavior? She wasn't even 12 weeks old yet. I went home, upset, and checked my bank account and Laura had cashed my 2 week advance pay that morning after I turned it in. Mind you, not a single "we may not keep her for 2 weeks because she sucks" was given or spoken that morning. Yet, hop and skip to the bank to cash that check. Well, after being told my baby is basically horrible half of every day and they would give her one more week to get right or get out...I thought clearly there's something wrong with the care my baby is getting there since she doesn't cry half of every day for anyone else. Maybe she wasn't getting enough attention, maybe she was hungry, and who the heck knows. What I do know is that I cannot change the behavior of an almost 12 week old baby. I also knew that me sending her back to stress out Laura's employees wouldn't help anything. So I decided not to send her back. SUNDAY her mom called me to let me know the daycare was closed Monday as every employee was sick. Fine. Tuesday morning my husband called and said my baby won't be in again...ever. He explained why and the employee on the other line had no idea my baby had been put on this ship up or get out list. I read the contract after, since I had signed it 2 months earlier, and it did say that parents or Laura can terminate care at any time. That's fine. But it said parents had to give a 2 week written notice? Um you told me my kid sucked and in one week she was done if not awesome? So how can I give a two week notice? It said if your child is removed from the program after being there for less than 3 months your deposit is Laura's. Oh, and the two weeks I paid ahead are also monies she gets to keep. So, do your research. Do not go to this daycare without reading the contract. I'm out $640.00 because my baby at 11 weeks cried. I needed that money following a return to work from unpaid maternity leave but I guess Laura needed it more for all the care she gave my baby for the entire 2 weeks she WAS there. Mind you I had paid $320 for the time the baby acruelly was at daycare. There's also three other things. Every time I picked my baby up at the end of the day she was starving like she hadn't eaten in hours and crying from hunger as soon as I got her in the car. I also noticed every day out of the ten days she went, minus one day, her diaper was soaked like she hadn't been changed in 4 hours. Final share, I noticed a 2 or 3 year old daycare client run into one of the staff and the child fell. The staff member did not comfort the screating child but rather picked him up by the arm and moved him to a gated off area. He had fallen on linoleum, it probably freaking hurt. I do not get any daycare assistance and had just returned to work after ten weeks of unpaid maternity leave and worked full-time. At ten to eleven weeks old my baby went to this daycare for a total of two weeks. Between deposit and all monies paid, Laura made $960 out of me for 2 weeks work. Please be smart if you're considering this daycare.

Comment: Laura is a great provider! I have my daughter attending there now and my daughter loves going to daycare everyday. I think if all these parents that are complaining should actually get to know her and understand that your child isn't the only child there to take care of and some days are harder than others; than maybe you shouldn't even put your kids into daycare to begin with. I think that if your so worried about money maybe people should pay on time. You like to get paid for the days you work, so why shouldn't she? Grow up and get over yourselves, she's doing you a favor by watching your kids.

Comment: I have had my children in Abc/123 Daycare for 3 + years and would recommend her to anybody that needed childcare. My children get mad when it's the weekend and have to stay home with mom and dad. Yes this provider takes days off but she gives out a calendar in January for the whole year, in 2015 she only took 5 days which is not a lot.

Comment: My children went to this daycare for 3 months. My eldest cried and screamed and kicked everyday that she had to attend this daycare. She always complained of Laura and her mother being mean to the kids. My kids were always starving and would literally cry for food when I picked them up. They were not given fluid throughout the day. I was called several times to pick up my kids due to false statements from Laura claiming they were sick. The kids would get picked up and would have nothing wrong with them. She closed daycare multiple times and would text me late at night with a few hours notice of her closing. The kids were NEVER taken outside.

Comment: The older children at the daycare have reported verbal abuse of the smaller children and excessive swearing from the provider. She seems to be a very angry person and should not work with kids. Please do not leave your children in this providers care!

Comment: I can't say enough good things about Laura and ABC1232. My child has been with her since he was a few months old and I never have had a concern about the care he receives. The complaints appear to be about billing practices which I've never had an issue with. I recommend Laura to anyone who asks where my child receives daycare.

Comment: LAURA LINDBERG AT ABC123 DAYCARE IS A THEIF AND A FRAUD!!! If I could give her zero stars on here I would. We gave Laura our 2 week notice on March 13th, and services were to end on March 27th 2015 - today is March 23rd 2015 and here Laura sits with my Money for this week, and texts me saying " You didn't pay me for this week so I'm not watching your daughter." A. txt message??? B. YOU HAVE OUR MONEY!!! Insanely unprofessional, and a CROOK! she won't answer our phone calls and her daycare doors are locked. She's a coward in how she handled this and I've filed a complaint. Finding out I'm not the first, and probably won't be the last parent she's burned, makes me even more sick with this situation.

My daughter had her children in this daycare. Last Friday, when she went to get them, yet again she was confronted on owing more money, mind you, my daughter recrives help through Douglas County for childcare, & pays a Co pay, in which is always paid. My daughter is very good with record keeping, even though it was just straightened out..yet again, for some reason Laura, or maybe it's her mother, seems to keep charging extra on there own convenience. Also, she is taking days off forcing my daughter to pay another, plus be expected to pay for the days Laura takes off. When my daughter asked for some kind of explination, Laura mother became heated, telling my daughter not to come back, while Laura stood there without a thing to say, acting as if she'd been caught. Needless to say, shes without daycare, they are with me. There have been other issues, which is sad, my daughter referred Laura to Co workers, who have children in Lauras daycare. also, has a back ground check been completed yet? Really sad people think they can swindle money out of others.
