Comment: Signing up with Cheyenne has been the best decision I ever made. I had my oldest at a different provider before Cheyenne and it wasn’t the best experience. I was hesitant to try another home daycare provider. But I interviewed with her, she let me ask my million questions and answered all of them. After discussing our options at home we went forward with Cheyenne. My kids love to go daycare and have so much fun, sometimes my kids don’t even want to come home. I love that she uses curriculum during the school year and the kids can be kids. My youngest is the only one there now and I am so thankful for all the growth that I have seen in my kids over the years while attending at her daycare. It’s going to be a bittersweet moment when my youngest ages out of her program.

My kids went to Cheyenne’s daycare for about 5 years. We had a great experience. She really does love what she does and we saw that every day. We loved the art work that our kids brought home. Our kids were always happy to go to her house. I felt like Cheyenne was apart of our family and like a 2nd mom to my kids.

I have used Cheyenne for many years. We have had nothing but a great experience. I can see from other reviews that some parents are not happy. I can understand their frustration. We have been here with Cheyenne pre-pandemic and during. We think she is doing what she can with the current situation. We get frustrated at times, but we also know that she is only thinking about the health and safety of our babies. Some of these comments that people have made are ridiculous. “She makes you climb over the gate” I had to laugh at that because it is a removable gate. My kids eat so well at her house and tell us all the time what they ate. I even get requests from my kids to make things the way she makes it. If I ever have any issues or questions she’s always happy to help me and answer my questions. I highly recommend Cheyenne!

I am the owner of this daycare and I want to set some things straight. These last 2 years have been the most stressful of my career and I have been in daycare for 25 years. This pandemic has put a huge curve ball into our lives. There have been many rules and regulations that have been put on us (daycare providers) over the last 2 year and they change daily. It’s almost impossible to keep up. I do have a strict sick policy due to covid, and it will not change until these kids have a vaccine available to them or covid just goes away. My number one priority is to protect the kids and make sure they are safe and healthy. I have had a lot of angry parents for sticking to my policy, I will not lie. But these policies are laid out for them and if they do not like it then why are they signing up? I get it, there are many different views about covid and I am only one person. I am not here to please everyone’s wants and needs, if you like what I offer and the policies I have, then sign up! If not, then don’t sign up. We go outside every day. Not as much in the winter as my policy is anything under 15 degrees with windchill we will stay in. We are outside most of the summer. There are days the air quality is not good for kids and for the health and safety of the kids we will stay in. There are days that it is raining, again we will stay in. I don’t want to make it harder on the parents as I know they are under as much stress as I am dealing with this pandemic. I am doing the best that I can with what we got. I know some of these reviews are based on the fact that their child would have to go get a covid test. I know it’s not fun holding your child down to get their nose swabbed. I have a young child and I know it’s not fun, but it is apart of our reality right now. It’s funny how people are quick to write bad reviews when they are not happy about something. Please understand that I am human and I try my very best. For the comments about time off, it is laid out in my policies. I get 10 vacation days and 5 sick days. I also get paid holidays that are also stated in the policy. I understand not everyone can handle my time off, but this is why there are interviews and everyone is given a copy of my policy. And no one is allowed to sign up without reading and signing the policies.

I do not understand the other reviews on Cheyenne. She has been a great provider to our children for many years. She keeps us updated, our kids are always excited to go to daycare. Yes, sick policies have been more strict due to covid, but I think this is expected and pretty common everywhere right now. We haven’t had any issues, our kids get outside all the time, especially in the summer. Winters are harder when we have long cold stretches, but it also states that they go outside at a certain degree in the winter. I signed these policies knowing what I was agreeing to and she has held up her end.

I agree with the other 2 reviews. Cheyenne is not willing to work with the families, misses multiple days of work for her illness or the illnesses of her children. In her contract she does state how many paid days she gets off but this far exceeds other providers In the area. Cheyenne rarely takes the children outside to play, doesn’t allow the children to run around and get their energy out. I would not recommend this provider to watch your children.

Let me start off by saying i do not recommend bringing your child here . We started back in the spring and during that time I’ve gotten about 5 or 6 updates on my child’s day there . But stated in her policies she says she’ll update the parents . I’ve seen more pics of my child on her Craigslist post than the app she’s supposed to update us on . I don’t know what my child has ate , if my child took a nap etc , but she still wants you to be active on it because she sends messages instead of texting the families when you have their cell phone numbers after a few months in i requested my child to start sitting on the pot while attending daycare . Not once got an update on how that went or even if she put my baby on the pot! My child had missed many days due to “runny nose “ basically one booger and you’re gone and you’re still expected to pay for the days that your child is out . There’s been multiple times when the daycare has been closed for personal reasons and your still expected to pay and find a sitter for your child . Ever since we started bringing our child there Cheyenne has had an nasty attitude with me and picked at everything that i did down to the type of diapers i bought . She’ll send mix messages for ex . I was never told to bring snow pants yet when i tried to drop my daughter off she made a big fuss over her not having snow pants mind you it was dust on the ground . DUST that was then gone in the morning . The last week my child attended Monday daycare was closed she went Tuesday all of a sudden my child was “congested” Wednesday sent home not even a hour in due to “nose running like crazy” how sway ? When i dropped her off she was fine and when i picked her up ? FINE . She could no longer go back because she would turn us around so we paid $180 for 1 day!!!! It’s a rip off she’s a lazy teacher and i again don’t recommend!!!! and If you can’t handle a little stuffiness during the winter times you should look into a new profession what kid is not going to get sick during winter?! Pathetic literally

Comment: I want to start off by saying , based off the previous reviews on this site I was a bit leery but I wanted to give her a chance. As the months went by, I kept constantly getting calls from Ms. Books telling me I had yo pick pick up my child due to her MULTIPLE personal days, my daughter having a runny nose , and because of the bad weather. Due to be having to pick her up so often I’ve missed out on countless days of work yet I am still expected to pay in full every week. She barely updates me on how my child day is going, barely takes pictures showing me how she is doing, and snack/lunch for the children was NEVER discussed so for all I know my child is there with no meals. I am extremely dissatisfied with the professionalism of Ms. Cheyenne Books.

Comment: She uses too many personal days and still wants you to pay while she is on vacation. She is very quick to charge you $2 a minute if your even a minute past 5:30pm, has a bad attitude and very seldom takes the kids out to the park nearby. She also makes you climb over her protective gate, which I understand needs to be up, but if you see someone is coming down to come pick up there child take it down,so no one gets hurt. I would not recommend using this provider unless u want to continue to pay for her vacation days..
