Comment: If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not put your children in Wendi Renee McNitt 's care. Wendi claims she is an outdoor based childcare. That's great and all but not in temperatures below 40 degrees with high winds and no shelter. She would have the children outside in rain/cold/wind to the point of their hands turning blue and they would be crying to go inside. On a rare occasion the children got to play inside with toys, may be an estimated 40mins-1hr on average a day were the children inside for play time. She would keep the kids on a porch that was covered, however was not heated with minimal toys/activities at least 1-2 hrs a day. Most of the time if they were on the porch she wouldn’t bother to put their shoes or coats/jackets on. If they were on the porch she would utilize Netflix and/or YouTube to entertain them. The porch area is what Wendi considered “indoors”. She also considered a barn indoors. The barn had no lights or heat. You could see your breathe at times. When it comes to meals, her past employees had picked mold off the food. Wendi's idea of a meal was whatever was cheapest and quickest, she would not serve USDA required food groups. Milk was not provided at meals. “Breakfast” was generally toast, and that’s all. She got caught "forgetting" or ignoring food allergies. She would verbally put down some of the children if they wanted seconds, if they didn't like the food, or if they didn’t eat much that day. When it comes to diapers, her side of the room would go 4+ hours without a diaper change. She would not report rashes or injuries to parents until pick up, if she even mentioned it. She would call the children “nasty” and “naughty” to their faces. She was blatantly rude to the parents on multiple occasions. She does not keep a log of diaper changing or food consumed for the children daily, which is not required however if she did the parents would know the lack of care their kid(s) would be receiving. Although knowing Wendi she would forge it. She was rude to her employees sometimes in front of the parents. She rarely spoke kindly of the parents or children. If a parent had the day off but brought their child to Wendi’s she would verbally complain in front of the employees and sometimes even the parent. Even though those parents paid for the month regardless. If a child wasn't sleeping at nap she would have them sleep on the porch, didn't care about the temperature, she would just add a blanket or their coat. If a child did not fall asleep within 30 mins or so at nap time they were not offered another activity they just laid wide awake on their nap mats for the 3 required hours at nap. She did not offer water at meal times and would get irritated if the children asked for a drink any time throughout the day. Milk was never offered at meal times. There is no preschool being taught. Not a single lesson. She was not encouraging about the potty training kids, she would belittle them if they made an accident or used to much toilet paper instead of coaching them. She would comment on kids weight, clothes, hair, etc negatively in front of children and employees. She would not allow the employees to do crafts with the children… she said she did not believe in “structured crafts”. If a child got hurt or wanted a hug she would tell the employees not to hold them for to long or “coddle them”. She would not let the employees teach or continue sign language with the children. On multiple occasions she told the employees to stop signing with the children. It was very rare Wendi interacted with the children, if she did it was generally not positive. These are just reasons off the top of my head, I could probably come up with 15+ other reasons. She no longer has the passion for children. Do not send your children here and do not work here.

Comment: If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not put your children in Wendi's care. Wendis employees, former, were her saving grace. Where do I begin... Wendi claims she is an outdoor based childcare. That's great and all but not in temperatures below 40 degrees with high winds and no shelter. She would have the children outside in rain to the point of their hands turning blue. On a rare occasion the children got to play inside with toys. Although, the children would have to sit in front of a television for Wendi to be able to handle having them "indoors". She would keep these kids on a porch that was covered, however was not heated. This is what Wendi considered indoors. When it comes to meals, her past employees had picked mold off the food and Wendi's form of a proper meal was whatever was cheapest and quickest, which is understandable although she would not serve USDA required food groups. Milk was not provided at meals. She got caught "forgetting" or ignoring food allergies. She would bash on the children if they wanted seconds or if they didn't like it. When it comes to diapers, her side of the room would go 4+ hours without changing them. She had a past employee change children outside on a towel so that she wouldn't have to bring them in to do a proper change. She would not report rashes or injuries to parents until pick up if she even mentioned it. She would call the children nasty and all the kids were "bad kids". She was blatantly rude to the parents, besides a few that were on her good side. She was rude to her employees sometimes in front of the parents. She never spoke kindly of the parents or children. If a child wasn't sleeping at nap she would have them sleep on the porch, didn't care about the temperatures. If a child didn't not fall asleep within 30 mins or so at nap time they were not offered another activity they just laid wide awake on their nap mats. She was not encouraging about the potty training kids, she would belittle them if they made an accident or used to much toilet paper instead of coaching them. She would comment on kids weight, clothes, hair, etc negatively to their faces. She would not allow the employees to play games with the children. If they did she would say "we don't want them to get used to that". She would not let the employees teach or continue sign language with the children. She would not like when the teachers would read or play with the children but was always willing to post photos of them doing this on social media to make her program look the part. She had many closures that employees offered to work and parents paid for. She charges her parents an insane amount for not even the bare minimum. She no longer has the passion for children. She recently lost a lot of children and all her employees. That should be enough evidence. Do not send your children here and do not work here.
