I have over 20 years experience watching children as young as infant. I am an Experienced Childcare Provider that has completed the 48 credit hour training in Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQIT) provided by the Colorado Department of Education in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Human Services Division of Child Care. We have a nearly new built home that is very clean, and smoke-free and is located in a friendly and safe neighborhood. Our program offers a child-centered curriculum with planned learning activities, We also offer music class, Book Start reading program, outdoor class, yoga class! All this is free to you and part of the childcare I provide to your little ones. Some other in home activities consists of various crafts, weekly themes, projects, gardening, nature, cooking, and music - lessons. | Comment: | DO NOT send your child to this in home daycare. There are founded reports of child abuse on the Colorado Shines website (the regulatory agency). Our son would come home with red, rashy cheeks (we suspect he was in a pack n play all day rubbing his face on the mat - she did not provide sheets) and drink water until he couldn't anymore (extremely dehydrated). I still get sick to my stomach thinking about this experience. I hope this review can prevent at least just one family from sending their child to this place. |
