Comment: I would have selected less then one star if it was an option. I wouldn't send my neighbors dog to this "Daycare"

Comment: It was extremely unfortunate that Andrea only gave my newly 3 year old 5 days to adjust. He doesn’t understand structure right now and is just interested in playing. If he didn’t want to participate in an activity, she wouldn’t allow him to play with toys and he was to sit out. Now, for a newcomer, he doesn’t understand anything that is going on and I knew he was feeling ashamed which in turn, he began to lash out. If your child doesn’t fit in here, she will call you to have them picked up. The first day I had to get him early, he was just crying. She had texted me and told me if he didn’t stop crying he would need picked up. I was constantly leaving work or going in late. Gabe wasn’t even spending a half a day towards the end. The last day we were there she wanted me to stand outside and watch Gabe through the window (which I thought was strange) and so I did but not for long. Gabe’s first day there, a child tried to bite him in front of me. She was calling me soon after I would drop him off for hitting or pushing but never mind the children I witnessed hitting when I spent time there on our last day. Or the child that tried to bite mine. She stressed she wished she could help stop his “bad behavior” but has not the slightest clue as to why it was occurring. I wouldn’t have known until I sat down there for almost 2 hours. She was isolating him. Now, I am not saying my son is perfect and this is his first experience in a daycare, but she described my son as violent and aggressive and that is NOT who he is. He is in a new daycare now and most of the children there are his age. Most children 3 years and younger are intrested in just playing. They don’t understand structure yet. They just want to play. She would begin different activities almost immediately after the last and someone with a young mind who is newly 3, can not grasp what is going on and he should not be ashamed for that either. The place may be good for children who have had previous experiences in other daycares or older children around 4/5. She is a nice lady but I wouldn’t recommend sending first timers there. Children fight, they hit, they throw fits. She’s not very understanding when it comes to that. She gave him 5 full days and that was all. He would never adjust in 5 days. It was very disappointing and not a good experience. She had suggested he needed early intervention for “social” reasons which was total crap. He plays fine with others and enjoys being around others. It just wasn’t a good fit for my son and I get that happens. Other than that, the place is pretty small. If your children are structured it may be a good fit for them. If not, I wouldn’t recommend.
