Comment: I went to this facility in the 90s when it was run by Ann and her son John. Ann was terrible. Would you let your child be cared by someone who threw stuff in their face just because they were a crying kid? NO! She threw a glass of water in my face because she thought she could get away with that. Having been raised by a woman who volunteered with foster kids who were abused I KNOW her behavior was NOT acceptable. John, on the other hand, was actually pretty great. I was somewhat autistic – on the end of the spectrum where it's super hard tell aside from certain things like weird food issues that anyone who doesn't get what you're dealing with calls being a picky eater. Like I can't deal with lettuce because of the texture. I can't really deal with “crunchy” vegetables, but put them in a soup when they are softened up and I'm fine. We didn't know I had those sort of issues back then, I didn't even know I had them until my late 30s. Despite how expensive artichokes were John would get then for us for our after school snack. But his mother Ann, that woman if she's even still alive should never have anything to do with children. Children of a certain age cry,m that's just going to happen, but what that woman did to me, throwin water in my face, was child abuse. Replace any other thing with water and if you threw that in someone's face it would be assault. So when that happened to me I went out into the yard, climbed over the fence with the intention of walking how ever far I needed to to my grandparents house which was the safest place I knew of in any reachable distance, which would have been like 12 miles away, because the only thought in my head was to reach safety and this place where this womman responible for my care did the closest thing to abuse she thought she could legally get away with was not a safe place. When I was sent back to that daycare I was under lockdown like I'd hop the fence at any given time. No. I only had reason to hop that fence and try to run away when crossed a line that anyone who isn't a parent should treat someone. Maybe if my mother had ever found throwing water in my face I'd have found that normal, but I didn't. And despite all the best, most understand things John ever did they will always pale in comparison to the child abuse I experienced from Ann that he didn't stop.

Comment: Phenomenal day care! I absolutely love Robyn & John -- they are so caring to my 15-month-old daughter and I truly believe Hazel has a great time there, every day. She is always smiling and happy when I pick her up after work. Great, big facility for the kids to play, huge outdoor area.
