Comment: | If you are looking for good childcare for your infant child, beware! The daycare admitted to us, when enrolling, that they haven’t cared for a baby in a long time. I understand being rusty, but it is no excuse, for poor childcare. As parents, we were trusting these people, with our most prized possession, and came out of the experience disappointed, with this daycare all around. A complaint was filed against this daycare and it is recommended that you read it. The URL link will be provided below. The daycare might do a good job with toddlers, and older kids, but our infant sat in a chair all day, getting bad diaper rashes. Our 5 month old infant, was not mobile at the time, and came home with several different types of rashes, bruises, and scratches. The poor excuses, by daycare owner, and assistant, included that she hurt herself, when there were no such occasions, before our child going to this daycare. They also provided excuses, regarding why our child was only fed once the entire 8 hour day, and again blamed it on our child, for not doing so. Again, there was no such issue before attending daycare. During the special investigation, the daycare’s story changed, from what we experienced. The daycare also told, us parents, two different stories, resulting in a total of 3 different stories being told, when being confronted on this issue. Stories did not match often and unfortunately there was no trust. Any time an issue was brought to the daycare’s attention, they provided excuses, saw no wrong-doing, and never corrected the issues. As parents, we had to make the decision to pull our child, as we could no longer continue to put our child through regular occurrences, that we feel should not have to take place, in order to be corrected. Our children deserve better and should be cared for properly in the first place. We hope that no other parent will have to experience what we have. https://childcaresearch.apps.lara.state.mi.us/Home/FacilityProfile/DG630282490 |
