I am very grateful that we all came through this past year with everyone Healthy. I have ONE Infant opening remaining, One opening was just filled with an adorable 1 yr old. I am looking forward to a new baby to love and grow close to. Call me if you are looking for a great place for your baby to be loved. Creating a sense of Family has been my focus for over 40 years. Although I am licensed for 14 children I am currently taking only up to 8. I really enjoy the smaller group, especially when we have new babies in care. I have large play areas and SO many toys.....lol. We have LOTS of books that we read. Colors, shapes, math and science are things we talk about everyday. To me learning is discovery, so we approach everything casual and with a personal touch, ie - "what color shirt is Linkyn wearing, does anyone else have that color on today?" It is really easy then to take them into imagination by asking them "How does a butterfly fly?" "Where do butterflys come from?" We Google things we want to know more about and then I often create a slide show of the things we've researched. We play music everyday. I even teach the children to sew if they are here long enough. The children learn many things here about being kind, using their manners, getting excited about new accomplishments, solving problems and many subtle ways to continue becoming amazing little people! We sometimmes make cookies together. The children get dirty here because they are involved in the business of Play and Learning! Good homemade food here, sometimes goodies are even sent home for their family. Family is what we are all about so if you are looking for an extended family and the kind of care that only a "grandma" can give, then you need to call me. | Comment: | Had my daughter here since she was 6 month old and she is now 14 month old. I am very happy with the progress my daughter have made since she started here. She teaches the kids basic sign, which have been useful here at home, easier communication for basic things. Joyce treats all the children like it was her own,and they call her Grandma. They have big play area in the back yard, mostly covered, but also a grassy area to play on, and lots of different toys to play with, and she have lot of development toys, that teaches the kids colors, shapes numbers and letters + more. I can only highly recommend this day care, you are treated like family. |

| Comment: | Both my children attended Neuman Family day care as young infants all the way up to kindergarten. In fact both my nephew and niece attended as well. Joyce is like family to us and my kids still call her Grandma Joyce. I am a nurse so my standards for care were very high. Joyce and her helpers have always been beyond accommodating and I would highly recommend this day care. It is like a second home to us! :) |

| Comment: | All three of my daughters have gone here. One of them currently attends. They absolutely love it. Grandma Joyce is the best. She is very caring and gentle with all of the children. She treats each one as if they were her own. I had the pleasure of attending when I was little as well. She is an extended part of our family. |
