Experiential Learning Center provides daycare services for children aged 3-8. Our mission is to prepare young children for school academically and social- emotionally through play and hands-on activities. We strive to assist children with developing healthy relationships with peers and adults and to progress in their learning with predictability and consistency.  Our program is about much more than babysitting and believe that children learn best in environments which are engaging and with people with whom they have become familiar. We customize our teaching strategies and activities based on the needs of your child but use the curriculum A Year of Playing Skillfully as our foundation for instruction. A Year of Playing Skillfully is a wonder based, developmental curriculum designed for children ages 3- with concrete themes and character traits carefully chosen for children to explore. Research based learning opportunities address the needs of the developing brain in the following areas: Language and Literacy, Math and Manipulatives, Science and Sensory, Art and Music, Gross Motor and Outdoor Play, and Social Emotional and Home Life.

We are just starting this program as an expansion of our current program and are currently running a pilot program for a small number of children to assist with finalizing our curriculum and obtaining parent feedback. Pilot program dates are April 15-August 31, 2022 with full expansion planned for September 1, 2022.

The current focus of our business is providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children and families struggling with autism. ABA is essentially just really good teaching. As we served our current population, we began to realize how challenging it is to find daycares who have the skills and resources to work with a wide variety of children who may need some instruction in how to make friends, prepare for school and simply learn to enjoy learning. We decided to expand our current services to form a Learning Center for children with and without diagnoses where our focus is to help children prepare for school socially, emotionally, cogntively and academically. Our current pilot program will be small to assist with collecting data and feedback from parents so that when we expand our program can be the best it can be.
