Comment: This is not an in home daycare. It a really odd fake franchise (Little Seedlings) where the owner is asking teachers to pretend they live there and host a daycare during the day. They are not mindful of the children and they are always hungry during the afternoon. The owner is like a saleswoman that doesn’t really care for the children only her profit. We asked for a curriculum guide and was told we’d receive it three times. Never did.

Comment: If you are looking for an in home daycare that is more like a childcare center franchise, this place is a good option. There are about five other little seedling locations the owners operate where they handle all the hiring, onboarding, etc. In my opinion, it is really no different than taking your child to Learning Tree or Little Tots other than the fact it’s in a home rather than a building. If like me, you want to bring your child to an in home childcare where you are solely dealing with the homeowner who is doing this out of passion and love, rather than someone operating multiple centers as a business owner, look else where. This is more of a corporation than anything. It felt as if the person running the daycare was just a hired contractor.

Our family has had an excellent experience at Little Seedlings. My daughter has been a Little Seedling since she was 3 months old, and will be moving on to preschool next fall. Miss Amanda and her team are honest, loving, and professional. We are so pleased with how much our daughter is learning and growing.

Comment: I have read all the negative reviews on here, and I am certain that this is from one upset parent, using different names. Little Seedlings is a wonderful neighborhood daycare, and I feel very lucky to have found it for my daughter. When a child (the negative reviewer’s child) was biting, hitting, and screaming all day long, the teachers made a decision, for the health of the group, to let that child go. I believe this was the right decision, and I am so happy that they let this child go. This child was aggressive and hurting the other children. This was a hard thing for the teachers to do, and they really struggled to make that decision. With that being said, it was the right decision, and the other parents were thrilled when that family left. I really believe that this child had some special needs, that the parents were not ready to address. Please do not believe the bad reviews. This is a very sweet little daycare, with families that are tremendously happy. We really do love it here, and feel terrible that this one unhappy mom is working so hard to ruin its reputation in the community.

Comment: I was looking in to taking my child to Little Seedlings after hearing about it from a friend. I researched the daycare along with the area and subdivision and was alarmed to find nearby within the subdivision there are five registered sex offenders. As a mother, this was a super unsettling thing to find out and we decided we did not feel comfortable leaving our child at this location. I felt other parents should be made aware of this, as I am sure many people would not want this in close proximity to their child. Always research the subdivision/area when looking for a daycare - this information is public.

Comment: We have had a wonderful experience at Little Seedlings of Livonia. The teachers are loving and professional. The communication throughout the day is so comforting for a first time mom. I know that my child is safe and loved when I drop her off.

I’m going to talk about 38038 Ross, Livonia Little Seedlings of Livonia childcare location. Parents, be ready to that your child can be kicked out of the daycare at any time, if your child will be fussy and it’s gonna make a lot of problems for teachers. They are not ready to pay enough attention to your child. They been told to not apply a sunscreen, but they still did and my child got a strong allergies. When your child is not comfortable for them, be ready to hear a lot of talks that gonna make you think that they are not a good fit for your child, but they do it in purpose to push you to make that decision and take a child home. We didn’t make any decisions about that yet, but one day a have received a massage that they brought child’s stuff to my front door, and left some letter which says that that was a last day at the daycare. I was confused, and tried to contact anybody thru the portal or by phone - we were totally ignored, we didn’t get any comments on why they did it. They being saying that for 15 years of their experience my child is the only one who can cry for 20 minutes unstoppably, but as soon they texted me to pick him up and I brought him home - he was just perfect! All that make me think that child was in depression because they didn’t pay enough attention to him or didn’t want to do so. Many times teacher was using a phone and was leaving kids without any attention. Be ready to get good pictures only thru a portal, when I asked to record a video of my child to see how he’s crying they texted me personally with that. I have a lot of other things to say about. All I said above is just a little part of what I would like to say, but it’s going to be to much writing here. Parents, we don’t recommend this childcare, if you don’t want yourself to get in the situation when they going to kick your child of the daycare without any notification to do so and you will need to quit your job so you can stay home with a child before you find some better place!

Comment: Had a very poor experience here. My child was hurt on several occasions and fed food I didn't approve of. They have strange policies of outside children doing drop-ins on certain days and that stresses the teachers out and puts them over the limit. Thus, you will see lots of changing faces at this home. This was the Livonia Michigan location although they have other locations as well.
