We offer: 1) Before/After School with transportation provided to/from local schools (Shelton, Mitchell, Kyffin, etc.) (ages 5+) 2) Summer Camp (ages 3+) with drop-in slots available for full or partial day. 3) Babysitting - in your home (Golden area) 4) Parents Night Out - Every Saturday night in September through mid-April, 6-10 p.m. Just $10/hr per child. Siblings are $5/hr so 2 kids are just $15/hr. We provide fun, activities, crafts, and a snack. With Golden Explorers, LLC you will have one consistent caregiver. I offer science experiments, crafts, field trips, and baking opportunities in my daycare. My backyard is grassy, big and completely fenced. I take 35 hours of child development classes every year to maintain my license, including CPR/1st Aid. I have been fingerprinted and background checked by the state of Colorado. There are two small, gentle Shih Tzu sisters who live on the premises who LOVE children (and children love them). Don't worry, yard is "poo"-free.

| Comment: | I am the owner of Golden Explorers and would like to clarify two things. (1) I am licensed to care for up to 8 children at a time, not 6. Ask to see my license when you tour. (2) Colorado Shines assigns a rating system to childcare businesses. A one star rating isn't bad. It just means the business is less than 5 years old. All new businesses start out with this rating. Unfortunately, even though I currently have 6.5 years in the childcare business (I was licensed once before in the state of Colorado), I can only be awarded one star because Golden Explorers has only been licensed since 2020.
