Comment: My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was about 7 weeks and is now over a year. I highly recommend this daycare. They are so loving and caring for the kids communication is very good they are always keeping me updated with my daughter throughout the day. Both teacher were always my older daughter teacher when she was in daycare and it has always been the same great communication and loving their kids. She still now continues to check on my older daughter who is now 9 years old. It a great feeling knowing i can go to work and not have to worry about my daughter cause i know she is in great hands

Comment: I started my girls with Ms. Mari and Ms. Andrea -Up until they started kinder. They had an amazing experience. My little one started when she was ONLY 4 MONTHS-she is 2 now and she loves it there. Ms. Mari and Ms. Andrea are caring, super sweet and care for the children’s health and safety. It’s really hard to find a people you can trust to take care of your children, specially at such a young age when they can’t talk, but my husband and I trust Ms. Mari and Ms. Andrea with our girls. We have never had a problem with them. They would come home happy and tell us all the things they learned that day. Until this day my two older girls still want to get off ,say hi and hug them when I go pick up the little one. I ALWAYS recommend Ms. Mari’s Day Care to any friend or family member that is looking for a trustworthy daycare.

Comment: I LOVE this daycare! I am more than comfortable leaving my 4 month old in the care of these amazing people. I had to go back to work at 1 month PP and Maricela’s daycare gave me ample pictures and updates throughout my shift. Made me feel much better. My baby genuinely smiles when she goes to daycare and they update me with every little tiny concern from a simple sneeze to a diaper rash and I love it. The app they have updates me during work and I love to go on it during my breaks to see how/what my child has done throughout the day. They work with my crazy schedule and that helps this working mom tremendously. My baby just started teething so there’s are times where I know I’m dropping off a fussy baby and that the day is going to be long with her and they handle it with a breeze. I’m at so grateful for them. My child will continue to go to this daycare and so will my future children.

Comment: I do not recommend this daycare to anyone, especially for infants and toddlers that don’t speak yet. My son was always “emotional “ there. My son is a happy baby, he is always smiling and mostly just cries for a bottle or when he needs his diaper changed. One day I picked up my son and he had about four marks on his body without any incident reports of any sort throughout the day. I was told that they let another little girl play with him in a playpen who is much older than my son and said by the time they turned around the little girl was on top of him. Mind you my son was 4 months at the time of the incident. I was furious but like any other parent who has very little help cannot up and move the kid in the snap of a finger. My final straw was when I showed up unannounced and my son was severely crying. You can hear him through the window and was crying for quite some time, her excuse was that at that time they were changing all the kids and he was the only one crying if he was the only one crying, they could have picked him up to comfort him but instead they let him scream and cry. From there forward, I told her he was not ever going to go back to her daycare. As a mom, you trust people in this field to take care of your kids but instead they did the total opposite. I hope that you do not take your kids to this daycare. My son never slept good at her daycare because they’re all crammed in one living room. You have 12 kids +2 teachers all in one small living room. I really thought my experience with this daycare was going to be different, but it turned out to be a nightmare. Just be cautious of where you put your children.

Comment: I was so lucky to have found Ms. Mari’s home daycare. My two girls were able to be together and I loved how well the communication was between us. This was the first time I had ever had my girls in a daycare and she went above and beyond helping me with any questions I had. They have such big hearts with even checking in on my girls when they were sick and offering help when she didn’t have to. You can definitely feel how dedicated they are to the children and I feel more than comfortable that my children are safe and being well looked after.

Comment: I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help with my kids. My son was kicked out of 2 daycares and I by chance found Mari on facebook. She helped ease my nerves and assured me of her knowledge with autistic children (my son). I cant thank her enough for all she has done watching all 3 my kids especially my son. I will always highly recommend her especially with her communicating about everything along with her patience! Thank you both for taking care of my kids!!

Comment: We were blessed to cross paths with Mari at a local daycare in town. It wasn’t until covid that I learned she had a home daycare. Once it was safe enough and precautions were being lifted she was kind enough to offer our kindergartner to continue her at home learning at her daycare. Not to long after when things were getting back to normal we enrolled our younger son to her daycare. Her home is clean and she was very attentive in caring for our children. She is a mother so she cares and loves your children as a mommy would. I will always recommend Ms. Mari and Ms. Andrea. She communicated often and throughout the day when needed so my husband and I always knew what was going on with our kiddos.

Comment: I first met Ms. Mari and Ms. Andrea when they were my daughter’s teachers at another day care. They were my daughter’s favorite teachers! We were so excited to learn Ms. Mari had opened her own day care. My daughter was able to go back with her favorite teachers for the summer. My daughter can be very anxious. They have always been so patient with her and would go out of their way to make her comfortable. They are attentive and very professional. Highly recommend!

Comment: My daughter has been going Maricela Lopez Daycare for over 3 years. Maricela is the sweetest most caring person I know. My daughter use to go to a private daycare, where Maricela was employed at. Then she opened her own daycare at home, that I absolutely had to send my daughter to her. During, summer breaks, and vacation breaks, she is my go to person. My daughter loves going to her and that it self,I can go to work in peace knowing my daughter is well taken care of!!????

Comment: Maricela’s in home daycare has been my saving grace. I am a first time mom and have no family to help watch my child. I had to find childcare for my child, I started her off at a big daycare and the experience I had was horrible with my daughter having incidents daily. I have learned my lesson in not sending her to big daycares, they aren’t as attentive as an in home daycare. I appreciate the in home daycare bc there are only 2 teachers that my child will know the whole time she is in their care. My daughter has been with Maricela for 2 years. Maricela makes it very clear about her policies and is strict but it’s for the protection of all the other babies. I can assure you the bigger daycares could care less. This is first and foremost her home, she has to protect themselves. You know what you agreed to when you signed her policy, they’re are no surprises. You have to accept that children get sick and you have to keep them home regardless of your job, because it’s the best thing for your child. I am able to go to my job and know that my daughter is taken care of while she is not in my care. Andrea and Maricela have been nothing but kind and care for my little girl the best they can. They are not babysitters as they both have degrees in education and my daughter loves to learn from them. I am so glad I have found them because I honestly don’t know what I would do without them.

Comment: I wouldn’t want my child attending any other day-care. Maricela is honest, trustworthy, and caring. Very clean environment. I know my child is in the best hands.

Comment: ABSOLUTELY THE BEST…… having my first baby I was nervous about going back to work and finding a good day-care for my baby…but let me tell y’all I am so glad I found Maricela’s day-care ( she was recommended by a friend). I can go to work peacefully knowing my 4 month old is in great hands. Maricela and Andrea are very professional, educated, and caring. The environment is safe, positive and fun. I am a very clean person so one of the things I love is that the environment is always clean and disinfected. All of her health and safety guidelines are outlined in her policies so that makes me feel that my baby is extra safe while at day-care. They genuinely care for the health and well being of my baby and all the other children. I have experienced honesty and top quality care from Maricela since day one. I am excited for my child to continue to learn and grow with Maricela. If I could give 100 stars I would. ??

Comment: My daughter has been in Maricelas care for about 6. I was terrified at first, my daughter had only been with me at home the first 2 years of her lil life. It was a huge adjustment, and shock to our system. The first few weeks were hard, but Maricela was so great and patient with my child. She keeps me updated throughout the day, I think it's smart of her to send any child home or not let them attend daycare if they are under the weather, bc germs spread fast. I think if your looking for something more personal this is the daycare for you! Shes very clean, has a good sized back yard that my daughter really enjoyes. I'm so thankful my child is in such good care. Highly recommend.

Comment: I'm not pleased with the care my son had. My son started going to Maricela Lopez Daycare in September 2022 and his last day was in April 2023. Throughout his time there he never once went a whole month let alone went for 1 full week without being sent home for something. He was sent home countless times for sneezing more than 5x throughout the day, would always come home reeking of Lysol, crunchy hair etc. Maricela was always finding excuses for him to not come in or for him to leave early. Just recently this March I had to bring him to work with me for over a week because she wouldn't allow him back because he was sneezing and coughing too much after he had already been cleared by his pediatrician. When he finally went back to daycare she would text me throughout the day saying he was screaming, disrupting nap time, class time, blaming my 9 month old son for her not being able to do anything and having to have the door and window open from his 'excessive coughing and sneezing.' He never once had those symptoms with me until he would go into her care, I don't think she thought of the possibility that he was coughing because he was crying so much and the house reeked of Lysol, and that he wasn't screaming, he was crying and has no other way to communicate. Last week she told me that she left him in a room by himself and put a chair in his line of vision so he couldn't see anybody, and he then came home with a bruise on his arm. I pay my portion of full time care every month on time and he has never received full time care. I had taken gas relief drops for him and they somehow have no record of ever having them. When I picked up the last of his things from Maricela's Day care I received 10 diapers back, and no wipes. I find that absurd because at the beginning of March I sent 3 brand new packs of wipes (240 total wipes) and a jumbo box of 210 diapers. He went to daycare maybe 10 days in March and 3 days in April. That's 27 daycare days. If they're changing my son's diaper max 5x a day and he only went 13 days, that's 65 used diapers. There is absolutely no reason why I should've gotten so little back and absolutely 0 wipes. I understand maybe she needed to use one for another child, which is completely okay so another baby doesn't go without, but at the end of the day those were my son's supplies that I would buy in bulk as a single parent. Maricela was completely unprofessional when messaging me. I didn't appreciate the way she was speaking about my now 9 month old son. Once I had looked further into the bag of his things, I noticed that I also didn't receive a teether that I had provided for him. She would send videos to me of him crying, and I would've appreciated that instead of her doing that, either herself or her assistant go to pick up my son. My son wasn't the only one being sent home constantly either. There were multiple occasions where she would let parents know that there were only two kids in her care because she sent everyone else home for being supposedly sick. She would change her policies to fit her needs such as not wanting to dispense medication, wiping noses, even if your child had seasonal allergies they weren't allowed back until she had a detailed note from the doctor saying that it is allergies. She would complain and say it wasn't fair to her to be in contact with germs because her family lived there. There was also a time where she would notify parents after 10pm that she would not be able to care for our children because something would come up or her child was sick again. Her hours were also changing for the summer going from 7:30am-5:30pm to be changed to 7:45-5:30 Monday-Thursday and Friday being 7:45-1pm. Those summer hours are not going to work for me along with everything else that has happened. Again, I always paid my portion of full time child care and I never once received that. Again, I'm a single mother and I do not have a village to help me. I shouldn't have had this many problems with child care, especially my son coming home with a fresh bruise, being left in a room alone, and who knows what else. Quite honestly, my money was wasted on childcare my son hardly attended because him being upset was an inconvenience to Maricela. The only reason he was there so long is because there is no availability in the area and surrounding areas we live in. He is on waiting lists for some but I could no longer allow my son to be in Maricela's care. I definitely do not recommend her childcare. She is purely in it for the money.

Comment: Would give 0 stars if I could. Maricela is lazy, inpatient and all around just not a good childcare provider. Half the time she will close her daycare for days or week on end or give early release with just 24 hour notice. All while getting full time pay. Believe me when I say she will find ANY reason to send your baby or child home. She will text you ALL DAY about every time your infant(6 months) is crying “too much”. Her text “updates” are just complaining, her frustration and in-patience are reflected in all her texts. Her roster is constantly up and down because people leaving. Yet she continues to except more infants when she knows she can’t handle them. This lady is in it for the paycheck. I wish I would have listened to the first review I read about her.

Comment: I have heard from a multitude of mothers & fathers going to this women and having a horrible experience. she is extremely inpatient with infants & has absolutely no reason to be watching them for money. She constantly releases the children early for unnecessary reasons without any reasonable explanation. As well as constantly abusing policies she needs an investigation done on her facility & seriously needs to be evaluated mentally. extremely awful experience from my many families & don’t recommend to anyone at all!!

Comment: Maricela doesn't have the ability or patience to care for my 10 month old infant. Much less your child or infant. She is under staffed. She is cold as ice .Baby will get neglected under her care. She is inpatient with infant & babies.I would not recommend her services to my worst enemy.
