| Comment: | Whitney McKinley has her 2 daughters aged ~11 “help” her run this care program. They spend more time with the children than any adult does on site. These are the same girls who are spanked and threatened with corporal punishment regularly as discipline. Because corporal punishment is not illegal in the state of TX, she has been able to retain this business. Please stay informed about who you trust with your babies. |

| Comment: | This provider unfortunately seems a bit overwhelmed and distracted at times with the number of children at once with just one (seems like sometimes two when she can hire seasonal help) adults in charge. Frankly, the communication can seem a little harsh sometimes as well - I don’t feel like I matter as much as my check does and she makes it clear which parents she prefers, which in my opinion is quite unprofessional. As someone with education in childcare, the daily activities, events, and snacks are accurate and just like having a decent babysitter, but there are better caregivers who provide a more stimulating in the Fairfield/Freestone County area for this price range. I’m happy to have moved my children on elsewhere - After School Playhouse was $140 for the cheapest summer options for the eldest rank of children, but Busy Bee Daycare in Fairfield TX has a steady year-long rate of $146 no matter the age with a much larger capacity for children and much more of a stimulating learning experience. Just my two cents. |

| Comment: | This provider in my belief had too many kids under her care for a single person. Was not able to tell me what happened to my child while under her care. Could only tell me that my child kicked another child twice. Admitted to being pre occupied in a different room. Let children with her oldest daughter on several occasions in back yard with her oldest daughter, around 8-10years old alone while going inside with me at pick up to get my childs belongings. When dismissed from her care, she called new daycare to tall them that my child was a bad kid that hit others and had already been dismissed from hers and another daycare previously. I find this very unprofessional and trashy to call and bad mouth a 2 year old child to another facility. When confronted she blocked me. |
