Comment: My experience at Lisa Little Lambs started off great. However, that has made a turn. Ms. Lisa is very unprofessional and lacks basic communication. My son has been attending her daycare since January 2020. Recently, he has been having allergies I was told I need to bring a note so the daycare can have it in his records. The request for this note was not label with a date just soon as I can and which it was in my plans. Well when I picked my son up for daycare I was asked to bring him wipes and a new pacifier to daycare the following day at drop off. I talk to both Ms. Lisa and her daughter. I text Ms. Lisa at 8pm to let her know my son will be getting dropped of at a later time so she doesn't expect him early. She responds for me to check my email as she JUST SENT something. When I looked at the email she says he can not return the next day until I bring a note for his allergies. Now, I was okay with the request but I expressed to her that this should have been said to me at pick up. I talked to both ladies and even text one after pick up. To EMAIL me at 8pm(because with out a text I wouldn't have checked at 8) as I work full time and am laying down for bed was inappropriate. Rather than just apologizing for the inconvenience in time she decides to get defensive and argumentative and just rude! I tell her I am not going against her request I am simply giving her feedback how it makes me feel she waited until 8pm to let me know he can not return, getting a note was not a problem I already prepared to put in a half day at work to take him in but the rudeness, unprofessionalism, inability to receive constructive feedback for poor communication, and desire to argue was unnecessary. She responds that she wants to terminate my son contract and end this relationship. I was okay with this because this is not someone I want to deal with on daily basis and want to care for my son. I asked for a return for my payment for the week and she declines stating termination was due to policy. However, policy was being followed as I agreed in text that I was okay with her request for a note she terminated my contract because she didn't like me asking her to let me know something like this in advance. I recently purchased a t-shirt from her to support her business AS I ALWAYS HAVE TO THE FULLNESS. When asking for a refund for my daycare payment since contract was terminated for personal feelings not violation of policy I also I asked for my t-shirt payment since he is no longer going there and will not be getting his shirt she ignores me. Not only did I have to deal with a rudeness and unprofessionalism I am now dealing with a thief. I do not recommend this daycare if you are looking for stability and communication because she lacks all these things. Now I am sure she will get on here and argue these points but I have text messages for proof.

Comment: I wanted to take a moment to tell you how very grateful I am of Mrs. Lisa and Ms. Ashlyn at Lisa’s Little Lambs .I didn’t just want a place to watch my son while I was at work, I really needed a place that cared for him like their own. These ladies have done that above and beyond what I could hope for. I don’t feel like I’m leaving him at “daycare”, I’m leaving him with friends and family who have a vested interest in his care, his education, and his growth as a person. The love and care that go into taking care of my son is just amazing. I could never have imagined that being a first time mother, I would be so comfortable with others taking care of my first child. Thank you so much for what you have done Ms. Ashlyn and Mrs. Lisa for my son.

Comment: My dear son has been in Mrs. Lisa daycare for a month now, and I couldn't be anymore pleased with the care he has received. As a first time mom, Mrs. Lisa has made the transition of my 8 month old son into daycare a wonderful experience. I was very particular about the daycare I wanted him to attend and listened to my heart when I toured one and often turned away. After countless tours of daycares, my first visit to Mrs. Lisa home I was convince this is the one. They have a very open communication through out the day to ease my worries and super attentive to detail. I am excited and thankful to have such loving and caring people caring for my son in a clean, safe, engaging environment! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed! 5 stars from this mom!

Comment: My husband and I could not be happier with Lisa’s Little Lambs! I recently came off maternity leave and my daughter’s daycare at the time did not have room for her little brother. So I began searching for a place to have my son temporarily until room became available in the next couple months. Not the ideal situation dropping at two places; but I needed to get back to work! Well, within the first week back to work, I was in contact with Mrs Lisa to verify there was room at her childcare after I put in my daughter’s two week notice. Yes, we felt bad moving her from some friends she had at the other daycare, but what was about to start at Lisa’s Little Lambs for her future was worth the move. My daughter, in the last 3 weeks has made incredible strides in her learning for a 3 year old. She sings the days of the week, writes the letters “A & B”, attempts counting to 20 (so close!), tells stories (repeats stories from their reading). She is a difficult child to wake up in the morning as we are attempting to get her on a better sleep schedule after she spent the first couple years on our Urgent Care and Police patrol schedules. But every morning, as we start to get ready, I ask, are you ready to go to Mrs Lisa’s house? She gives a sleepy smile and says “Yes!”. I love it! She feels so loved and accepted there. She is learning everyday and enjoys it! She comes home and wants to practice writing her letters and numbers. How do you know a baby is happy with the daycare? When I drop my baby boy, he readily goes to Mrs Lisa and coos while in her arms. His bottom is always clean and no diaper rash. His report card indicates the times he took his bottles and had the diaper changes. I get picture text updates; tummy time and resting in the bouncer (his favorite at home as well). Recently, Mrs Lisa and Ms Ashlyn attended a childhood education training and forwarded on links and ideas to help make healthier lunches for our kids. I’m making changes in my diet and want my children to eat more healthy, so getting these resources was welcomed. We are blessed to have Mrs Lisa and Ms Ashlyn in our community offering this wonderful childcare service. We do not have family close to help care for our children, but they feel like family with how much they care/love our babies.

Comment: Mrs. Lisa and Ms. Ashlyn are the best, they love what they do and it shows and reflect in the children there. My daughter Brooklyn turned 4yrs old in June 2019, she started attending lisalillambs in August 2019. Afte I removed her from her previous daycare Kids Rocket of 3 yrs, due to the atmosphere of issues of other children hitting and being Violent. Within 1 month of being at lisalillamb my daughter was spelling and writing her first and last name!!. She begin to learn site words, spelling, reading and sounding out words. Before I knew it here we are right before the 6 mth mark and Brooklyn is READING!!! doing mathematics, she learns about the weather far as the different type of clouds. Every morning she is excited to see if it’s going to be cloudy or clear. I am beyond impressed. This is just not a daycare, Lisa is an educator and has a degree in teaching and my daughter loves her. Please go to lisalillamb Facebook Page you will see video of my daughter reading and doing mathematics on the site. That is my 4 year old baby!! At the previous daycare she would cry not to go because kids where hitting her and they did not teach them anything. Now I have to explain to her she has to go home MRS. Lisa has to close and all the kids have to go home. They are so amazing, and if you care about your child a actually learning then this is the place for you. I can tell you with every honest bone in my body that bad review did not even attend lisalillamb. Anyone who understands how childcare works knows childcare hours will not start before 6:30am. I encourage you to go and experience for yourself, don’t. Let one bad apple spoil your chance and giving your child that early education that they deserve.

Comment: Our 2 year old angel Aubrey attends Lisa's Little Lambs. We are new to Texas after losing our oldest daughter. I have been very attached to my little Aubrey since I lost a child. I was very scared to let her go but I know it was time.I had been watching Mrs.Lisa for a while now on Facebook and I told my family back home, we're going to take a tour of where our baby would be attending. Immediately after meeting Mrs.Lisa and Ms. Ashlyn, we knew this was the place for Aubrey! Not only was she professional, polite and registered, but she was very compassionate to the kids that were there. I sit back and listen to my baby counting, saying colors and singing new songs all the time now.Everyday we pick up our daughter, we receive a report of what they ate, how was their mood, what they learned and how was their day. We receive pictures everyday just assuring us that she's doing well! We could have not picked a better place for our child! Those ladies are awesome and if I could, I would yell it to the world! Keep doing what you're doing ladies!

Comment: I am very particular when it comes to my children and also my nephew's learning and learning environment while I am at work. Not only do I consider the monthly expense I also consider if the children are comfortable& Happy. I was able to visit Lisa's Little Lambs facility after I found out about an opening. Her facility is clean, welcoming and very organized. My nephew immediately warmed up and smiled. I felt comfortable and even had my 6 yr old with me and when we left she was upset she couldnt attend. If your looking for an environment that is personable, dedicated to educating the children and not a babysitter this is the spot for you! She does have extended hours with notice, which is a plus but the fact that you see and feel the love is more than enough for me. First day my nephew cried because I left but literally 15 minutes later he warmed up and smiling and enjoying himself. Please visit and ask questions and even observe the parents picking up and dropping off, I saw the parents and kids happy! Comfort/Learning and Love! best combination that a parent could ask for!

Comment: As a first time Mom, I was excited to have my 2 yr old son start a new daycare at Lisa's Little Lambs; that was until she decided to cancel the Saturday before he was due to start the following Monday. I initially chose this daycare service due to her extended hours & a personal close referral. Upon the first initial phone conversation, I explained to her what my son's schedule would consist of; we spoke briefly in reference to pricing and I was offered a tour. My husband & I visited her facility three days after that phone interview. We were assured that it would be of NO problem for him to start with the guidelines as we discussed. 9 days later my son went for a trial day in which I paid a registration/ application fee and a "drop-in" rate. Again, everything was fine for him to start as we discussed; we texted throughout that day with updates in reference to his day and were in good contact. Things were seemingly to be going okay. Per Mrs. Lisa's contract, payments are due the Friday before the following week to start. I reached out to advise her payment was made for the following week and she agreed again. The very next day she called and stated that she had been thinking and it was not going to work out. She stated she did not out the 2 weeks before due to her being on vacation. When my son was enrolled she advised me at the time she had only 5 children. The most recent day we spoke, she stated she was now at capacity and had 11 children. I now know that she cancelled my son's childcare due to her having more children than she and I discussed when I initially signed up my son. I have counted 6 different days/ interactions between she and I and a 3 week gap where she could have informed me that our situation would not work out. I do not recommend her childcare services to any parent who may have a alternate schedule. In addition, I had also left my son's clothing items, diapers and wipes at her facility; as he was planning to return. I have since advised her to donate those items to children who are attending. If you do not have a schedule of 8a-5p or 8a-5pjob; do not waste your time seeking this daycare. I am highly disappointed in the services my family received.
