Comment: We have been using Suzy Q’s Cub Care part time for over 4 years, and have sent all 3 of our kids. The daycare is a clean, relaxed environment with an at home feel- which is exactly what we were looking for in a daycare. Our kids get very excited every week when it’s “Suzy Day!” and we have been happy with the care received!

Comment: SuzyQ daycare was perfect for my son!!!! He not only got the best care but he also learned his ABC’s to counting to 10 at the age of 2!!! My son loved going everyday and although he is in school now he still talks about Mrs. Suzy and how much fun she was… I felt completely safe leaving my child with her. And boy did he have fun!!! The education was a bonus!!! He is ahead in his preschool class now!!! I can’t thank her enough!!!

Comment: Ms. Susan has provided my child with care for over a year and we’ve been impressed with how much our little one has learned already! From eating with utensils to sign language, and doing fun crafts! Just be sure to have a back-up plan when your child is sick.

Comment: I contacted the owner of this daycare via phone, she chose to reply via text. After a few basic details and then asking about my child and me expressing i was looking for a play based smaller daycare because my child gets over stimulated in day care centers, the own prompty wrote back that my chold wouldnt be a good fit after 2 text messages. Id give her 0 stars if possible of thats how you conduct business via text and dont even try to get to know a child based off a text. If she can judge my kid via text and say it would be a good fit then i higjly suggest you dont send your child to someone who is so willing to push a kid away at any sort of issue at all, id say the care is probably just a miserable as the business being conducted.

Comment: My little one graduated from Ms. Susan’s program after years of care. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for all that Ms. Susan has taught my child! From ABCs, numbers, shapes, colors, please and thank yous, socialization skills, and even potty training! My child was well prepared to head to “big kid school”. She has a wonderful in-home setup with lots of toys and an outdoor play area. She is the only provider in the home, so be sure to have a back-up plan in the event that there is a closure.

Comment: This daycare was recommended by a friend of a friend on Facebook. Everything was good initially, but progressively got worse as time went on. The communication was lacking. When picking up our child, we would ask how their day was, she'd reply "good". Did they eat, did they nap? "Yes" but would never elaborate on what was eaten, how much, how long the nap was, etc. She judged our child often for being “delayed” with walking (walking at 16 months vs 12 – still within a completely normal range!). Our pediatrician and physical therapist both suggested we have a talk with her about how our child is progressing at an acceptable rate. If medical professionals weren't concerned, she shouldn't be either. She told us often that our child sat alone and didn't interact with other children; isn't it her job to help engage the children and make sure they feel included? Our child is very social with friends and family and other children during playdates, so this did not make sense to us. Our child was repeatedly sent home within an hour of drop off, claiming a fever or rosy cheeks. Upon pickup, we would temp our child IN THE CAR and no fever would be present, and our child would go about their day normally with no issues. She told us our child was shaking while at daycare. We did our due diligence and took our child to a neurologist. The doctor was not concerned and said it's likely a stress response that has developed. We felt awful about sending our child and had been searching for other care for months. She terminated the contract and gave two weeks’ notice, citing “changes in her program and only wanting full time kids.” (If that was the reason, why not ask us if we would consider full time care?) It truly felt like she just did not want our child in her care. Luckily, the timing was perfect as we had just secured care with another provider. I give two stars because the daycare area of the home has a nice layout. If you have a child with any type of “delay”, this is not the right place for you. All children should have the chance to thrive and do so at their own pace, and providers should meet every child at their individual level.

Comment: We chose SuzyQ daycare because she came recommended on fb by people. She was polite and the tour of her houses was excellent. Newly renovated and a good area outside and inside for kids. Then the first day came. Our son did fine for his first ever drop off but come pick up he had a bruise near his eye that she did not make mention of and said that he was struggling with his hands in his mouth and holding onto toys. We said we were working on both of those things at home. She had quite an attitude when I said we were actively working on those things. Second day when dad dropped him off he had some separation anxiety and cried for 15 mins and was then ok. And we were told he didn't eat lunch that day. Because of these 2 reasons we were told "our son had special needs that she couldn't take care of and we needed to find somewhere else." 2 DAYS and then she kicked him out. He is a covid baby that hasn't been away from mom and dad before so we knew there might be some challenges but she never gave him a chance to learn his environment or get familiar with the routine. We strongly discourage families that have a child with separation anxiety or any type of normal child behavior from going to this place. She obviously doesn't know how to handle children if she couldn't make it 2 days. The only things she cited him for was the meltdown at hand off and not eating lunch. Please learn from our misfortune with her that SuzyQ may not be the right place for your child.
