I have always loved working with children and animals for as long as I can remember. I am a loving cheerful and patient mother of three, with many years of experience and education in childcare. I’m a smart and energetic person with a lot of creative ideas. Crafting, planning activities, cleaning and organizing, playing sports, and music are all very fun activities to me. Over 23 years of experience caring for children. Later in my education I took 3 semesters in Early Childhood Education and took 4 years of Psychology with a focus on Child Psychology. I have been a Girl Scout leader since 2011 and took over as the Girl Scout Service Unit treasurer in 2014. I have nannied for a couple people for a total of 10 years. I have worked in three preschools one in CT, one in NY, and one in Atlanta, GA for a total of 6 years. Additional Information: The most important is for a child to feel loved and filled with joy and laughter. For a child to be a child, but also be able to learn and develop at or above age appropriate levels. I believe it's important to be well mannered and polite, to help out those in need, and to open the door for the elderly. Teaching boys to be gentlemen and girls to be ladies, and teaching the young children to be loving, kind, and respectful to others. It’s important to play and do messy activities, such as mud pies, play dough, goop, bubbles, volcano, bug hunts, painting, and spy. It's Important to learn and educate through these experiences and activities.
