I am a highly qualified teacher with a B.S., Degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education, and a M.S., Degree in Psychology. My children are taught to read by the time they enter First Grade, along with Art and Music as part of our curriculum. As previously mentioned above, I am a highly qualified teacher, along with one staff member who is a retired employee of the Department of Human Resources, Legal Department, Birmingham, Alabama; being a former employee with DHR is an asset for our establishment.  My associate also hold a college degree in Business Education, and certificates in Paralegal training. With this type of staff, our Tutoring and Preparatory Academy as we prefer to call it, offer excellent care and academic preparation to our children. Because we only work with six (6) children, we are able to give each of them one-on-one attention. We also encourage the parents to sit in or visit us whenever possible so that they will know what the child is being exposed to academically, and intellectually. When one of our students entered Kindergarten in 2014, he was given a placement test where the highest score to make was 600; our student made 555.
